The Regional Symposium on Supply Chain Transparency on 18-19 June 2019 had a series of panel discussions and practical exercises that highlighted good-practice initiatives to support supply chain transparency, ethical recruitment and work protection.
The Symposium included select business leaders and civil society organizations with extensive expertise. Inclusion of select civil society organizations delivers on a priority of the Bali Process as agreed by Ministers in the Declaration of the Seventh Ministerial Conference of the Bali Process on People Smuggling, Trafficking in Persons and Related Transnational Crime.
The Working Group’s fifth annual meeting on 20 June 2019 provided another opportunity for members to review progress against the Forward Work Plan for 2017-2019 and to consider priorities going forward.
