The Co-Chairs of the Bali Process on People Smuggling, Trafficking in Persons and Related Transnational Crime (Bali Process), Australia and Indonesia, hosted the meeting of the 17th Bali Process Ad Hoc Group on 3 May 2024 in Kuala Lumpur, Malaysia.
The meeting reflected on activities and achievements of the Bali Process since the Eighth Ministerial Conference in February 2023 and assessed progress made against the Adelaide Strategy for Cooperation. Members' interests and forward priorities were discussed as well as the progress on commitments from the Eighth Bali Process Ministerial Conference and Third Government and Business Forum.
The meeting was co-chaired by the Bali Process Senior Officials of Australia and Indonesia.
