Meetings of the Bali Process provide a structured platform for Members, Bali Process Working Groups, the Government and Business Forum, and the Regional Support Office (RSO) to present updates, share insights, and discuss key regional developments. Depending on the agenda and its priorities, observers may also be invited to contribute presentations. These meetings enable participants to review progress on ongoing activities, assess emerging trends and challenges in the Bali Process region, and identify opportunities for enhanced cooperation and coordination.

The presentations and discussions play a critical role in shaping the agenda for the Ministerial Conference, ensuring that it reflects current priorities, emerging issues, and the evolving needs of Member Governments. By facilitating dialogue and information exchange across multiple stakeholders, these meetings help guide strategic decision-making and strengthen the overall effectiveness of the Bali Process in addressing irregular migration, people smuggling, trafficking in persons, and related transnational crime.
